Chef Biography
Stanton Ho received his culinary degree from the University of Hawaii – Kapiolani in 1975, and went on to l’École Lenôtre, in Plasir, France. He returned to the United States to work as the pastry chef at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1979, working his way up the kitchen ladder to Executive Pastry Chef. The Great Chefs crew caught up with him in Las Vegas, where they taped him for Discovery Channel’s Great Chefs of America series.
He left the Las Vegas Hilton in 2006 after 27 years and joined Chocolates à la Carte in Los Angeles that same year, as Corporate Executive Chef in 2016.
Stanton Ho, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, at his home, in Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife, Joanne E. Ho; sons, Stuart and Brenton; daughter-in-law, Darlene; and three grandchildren, Edison (8), Liam (5) and June (4).
